"Video Surveillance Solutions for Home and Business"
  Business Security & Operations
  Security
Provide a strong deterrent against theft of all types.
Discourage false accident reports and other fraudulent claims. Video surveillance evidence can undeniably refute bogus allegations which may otherwise result in a costly lawsuit.
Discourage workplace violence.
Keep a visual record on POS (point of sale) areas to reduce cashier theft.
Watch company parking lots to discourage vehicle break ins and increase the safety of employees entering and leaving their vehicles.
If needed, cameras can be used to capture license plate numbers of vehicles entering/leaving a protected parking lot.
  Operations
Check to see if your small business opened or closed okay.  If you can't be there in morning,  the next best thing is logging into the DVR to see that employees punched in and got the business rolling on time.  Another morning activity for distant business owners is to quickly run through the previous night's video sequences (motion activated) to check for unlawful loitering, trespassing, or vandalism.
Documentation of events such as manufacturing processes. For example, video can be used to document the assembly of a product to make sure all the proper steps were taken (and in the correct order). Often this might otherwise be impossible without dissembling or tearing down the work product. Other applications are much simpler and may focus just on work itself.  For instance a camera placed at loading dock could be used to verify that trucks were properly loaded or tied down. Video could be reviewed in the event cargo was damaged, fell off, or was missing.
Construction projects can be monitored by day while materials and equipment can be watched at night.  PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) cameras are especially well suited for this task as they can be remotely controlled to scan and zoom to provide coverage of a wide area.
Use to visually check the stock of merchandise on store shelves or inventory storage locations. A strategically placed PTZ camera can give a remote operator moving eyes to scan shelves or take stock of scene inventory items. The zoom capabilities (now to 36X) of these cameras is quite amazing.
Use cameras to provide live viewing of gauges and other instruments in remote facilities.  Additionally, time / date stamps overlayed on archive video could be used investigate intermittent malfunctions or equipment failures.
The remote viewing capability of our CCTV systems could provide an economical way to retrieve live manufacturing and business operations data over the internet.  Some of the most valuable CCTV applications have nothing to do with watching people.
